Ed opened
with prayer
The following
fundraisers from M/O were approved: 1. Reap Pancake Breakfast/Bake Sale in
March. 2. Crop Walk 2nd Sunday in Oct. 3. Sloppy Joe’s Café:
includes bake sale and auction items to be held in Oct. 4. Bake Sale during
Rummage sale, if that works for Christian Ed. 5. NORAC: New Opportunities for
Orphaned Romanian Children. 6. PEB: Pakistani School: 5 and 6 are usually
funded through the Sloppy Joe funds, if need speakers, a free will offering. 7.
Summer Lunch Program 8. Micah Ministry. 9. Bags of Grace. 10. Easter
Eggstravaganza: plastic eggs, candy donations. 11. Christmas Missions. 12. MLK
Celebration. 13. Donations for school supplies and Christmas donations.
Talked about
future plans for our Endowment Fund.
Discussed
plans to present budget and Pat’s term of call to the congregation on Jan. 31.
Continued
work on our portion of the Manuel of Operations.
