Most of the meeting was spent discussing the 2017 budget. The preliminary figures are as follows: $133,719 pledged so far from 42 pledges.  There are about 10 to 12 people who pledged last year who did not turn in their pledge on Stewardship Sunday. Linda Schumacher estimates this amount when turned in to be around $17,760. These two figures total 151,479. Last year our pledged income was $153,406. We are estimating about $16,000 in non-pledged income, and the total estimated income to be around $157,619. This does not include further pledges coming in around $17,760,

The committee did not try and set the budget at this time as there are too many unknowns at the present. We will present our recommendations to the Session at the December meeting.

There was discussion on how much more money to pay to presbytery on our per capita and on paying  ourselves  back on the A/V fund .
