Minutes of Finance Committee Meeting on May 9, 2016

Members present: Pastor Pat Jackson, Ed Ingram, Linda Schumacher, Don Pine, Bill Melewski, and Paul Luce by phone.

Ed opened with prayer

Don Young and the Endowment Committee has made 2 posters with information about Endowments. The Sunday School lesson on May 8 was on Endowments and how they can help the church.

Continued discussion of plans for the fall Stewardship Campaign.

Deadline for applications for the Joy Scholarship Fund in June 1.

Had a discussion on how the money from the Joy Scholarship Fund could be used. Will follow up with a letter to Presbyterian Foundation to clarify some questions we had.

Next meeting: June 13, 2016 at 6:30 PM.

We will not meet in July.
