Committee Meeting

Ed opened
with prayer
Approved a
request for the Heart of America Chorus to put on a free will offering concert
at the church on 10/2/2015 from 6-10PM. Any monies donated will go towards
helping defray the cost of going to competition.
Discussed
plans to promote our Endowment Fund during the 65th Anniversary Celebration.
Worked on
updating the Manuel of Operations as it
applies to the Finance Committee. More work to be done.
Discussed
plans of Stewardship this fall. Our theme will be on Gratitude and what Blue
Ridge Presbyterian Church has met to each of us in our lives. Several people
will be asked to give a 30 to 60 second video on this. Stewardship Sunday will
be on Nov. 15, 2015.
We still
need to find a replacement for our treasurer Paul Luce who will be moving to
Texas sometime after April next year.
